Privacy policy

The short version

• Getting prices takes no sign-up, no name, no email and no phone number.
• What you type into the price form is used to work out your prices. We don't save it; your own browser keeps it on your device so you don't have to retype it, until you choose Start over.
• We only learn who you are if you ask a Grove advisor to check a plan. Then your request goes to Grove, and only Grove.
• We don't sell, rent or share your information, and we don't run advertising trackers on this site.

When you get prices

The price form asks for your ZIP code and county, when coverage starts, and each person's date of birth. It also asks whether each person uses tobacco and needs a plan, your household income, how many people are on your tax return, and whether everyone enrolling has a qualifying immigration status. Your browser sends those answers to our server, which works out the prices and sends them back. We don't store the answers, write them to a log, or attach them to you in any way. To save you retyping, your browser keeps your last answers on your own device (in its local storage); they never reach us from there. "Start over" on the form clears them, as does clearing your browser's site data.

When you check your prescriptions

The prescription checker sends the drug names you type, and the drugs you pick, to our server. It looks them up on each plan's drug list. Like your price answers, they aren't saved, logged, or sent to anyone, including Grove. If you then ask an advisor to check a plan, bring them up on the call.

When you ask an advisor to check a plan

If you choose to, the review form asks for your name, email, phone, ZIP code, how you heard about us, and anything you'd like to add. It goes to Grove's client records system with the plan you picked and the quote behind it (the ages, county, income and estimates above). That way the advisor who calls you already knows what you're looking at. The request also records the page you were on, the site that sent you if your browser says, any campaign tags in the address, your IP address and your browser type. That's how we learn which ads and searches bring people here.

The checkbox you tick says Grove may call, text or email you about your health insurance. We keep the exact words you agreed to with your request. Only Grove's licensed advisors contact you. Nobody else uses your details. The services that run the site for us, like our web host and calendar, handle them only to provide that service.

The review form never asks about your health. Doctors and prescriptions come up on the call, if you want to go over them.

The booking calendar

After you send a review request, we show Grove's appointment calendar, which runs on Cal.com. We fill in your name and email so you don't type them twice. Cal.com sets its own cookies to make the calendar work and handles what you give it under its own privacy policy. If you'd rather not use it, call us at (970) 840-1130.

What this site leaves on your device

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising tags. Your browser's local storage holds your last price-form answers, on your device only. The booking calendar, once you open it, is the exception noted above. Our host, Vercel, keeps ordinary server logs, like every website host.

What we never do

• Sell, rent or trade your information. Not to lead buyers, other agencies, or anyone else.
• Pass your request to another agent. A request made here is answered by Grove.
• Send your details to an insurance company or to Connect for Health Colorado unless you decide to apply. Then we send only what the application needs, after we tell you what's going.
• Ask for a Social Security number, a bank or card number, or your Connect for Health Colorado password on this site. If a page appears to, it isn't ours.

Many comparison sites sell what you type to several agents at once, which is why your phone rings for weeks after you use them. This site doesn't work that way.

How long we keep it, and your choices

A review request stays in Grove's client records while we're helping you, and as long as insurance record-keeping rules require after that. You can ask us at any time to stop contacting you or to tell you what we have. You can also ask us to delete what we're not required to keep. Reply STOP to any text, or email hello@groveba.com.

Children

This site is for adults shopping for coverage. A parent may enter a child's date of birth to price a family plan; we don't knowingly collect anything else about children.

Changes, and how to reach us
